I am a creative whose practices predominantly lie in and around movement, film and photography.

Having just finished a BA(hons) Dance & Choreography degree at Falmouth University, I plan to continue my work in dance, film, photography and marketing here in Cornwall.

I have dedicated the last five years of my education to movement studies and it underpins most of my creative practice. Dance has provided me with so much understanding of dedication, professionalism, empathy and creative skills.

Film has become a major part of my creative practice in the last two years. I have created various dance and other short films. In 2019 I was awarded the AMATA Edge Award which allowed me to create 'f l o a t', a dance film created at Jubilee Pool, Penzance. ' f l o a t' has gone on to be successful in selection for Frame Rush Film Festival 2020 and was also screened as part of Without Colour Film Festival. Without Colour Film Festival was created by myself alongside 3 others to celebrate dance on screen, with its first screening in early 2020.

I have also been involved in the recording, editing and documentation of various dance artists work, including Katrina Brown and Sarah Levinsky.

After having the opportunity to learn from renowned dance photographer Chris Nash in 2018, my interest in photography blossomed. Since then, I have had the chance to photograph live performance, marketing/promotional material, workshops, headshots and complete personal projects.

More recently my interests have moved into being a facilitator for other peoples creativity. After being part of the Young Rural Retreat 2019 cohort, I gained a lot of interest in leadership and creating space/platforms for young people to have the opportunities to express themselves creatively. This led and aided the creation of Fysh Scratch Night and I hope creative facilitation will continue to be an area I have an opportunity to work in.

Since September 2019 I have also been part of the small team curating the Instagram account for Falmouth University BA(hons) Dance & Choreography. Despite having worked within social media marketing since 2016, running an online business and advertising college shows, this opportunity allowed me to further develop my skills in this field.

This is a space for me to share some of the projects I have been involved in and created. This is a space for me to develop and to share the different interconnecting strands of my creative practice.
